It can be used as a standalone product or as part of an Office 365 subscription. OneDrive is Microsoft cloud storage service allowing you to upload all files and photos and access them from any device. You'd hope that any cloud storage option was secure, but Microsoft is going an extra step to offer enhanced security for OneDrive by introducing a new protected area.
